When this xpac comes out, Trolls will be able to be druids WTF.  I hope you will be able to change your characters race because I hate the cows.  And Tauren will be able to become paladins LOL.

Ok, now to write about Japan...

I want this embroidery machine, and I want it bad.  REALLY BAD.  Oh jesus if I had this machine I would be able to do so so much and it would look so awesome that I would actually want to wear what I make.

Baww $7000 is expensive

Wow, what a great site!  So many nice things to use for making sweet props!  They have a lot of really nice tutorials as well.  Here are a few that I have found to be interesting

All of their tutorials
How to make a mold box
How to make a latex mold

Other than their wide variety of fiberglass products, I think their acrylic products are interesting as well.  At least I know where to go if I have a costume with clear components now

And on a random note, Pam can be used as a release spray for fiberglass!  Hell yes, no more vaseline!!

Wow

Ok, when I first saw this, I thought it was a live action trailer starting Tom Cruise as Chris Redfield. Props to you, Capcom, for making a trailer with such amazing CG that I had to watch it 3 times to make sure that it was actually CG.

And Chris is RIDICULOUSLY hot in this trailer. This is coming from someone that isn't a huge Chris fan, or a huge Tom Cruise fan - that's how hot Chris is in this trailer. Speaking of strange affinities for Resident Evil characters, for some reason, I am not a fan of Leon's character development in Degeneration. I actually found myself liking Claire more than Leon.  Leon was such an interesting character in 2 and 4, but now he seems to have just turned into a cold, emotionless killing machine with a perma-frown, and I hate it.

EDIT: Ok lol I am not buying this stuff.  Way to expensive, but the paint is still interesting to look at so I am leaving the entry up.  If you are all lacking something to do I suggest poking around the Alsa Corp site - they have a lot of interesting products there.  One of my favorites is their Prizmacoat, for example.

So, I am planning out how I am going to construct my Final Form Sora shoes, but there is one thing that I can't really figure out: how to make the soles. I want them to look like they are made out of rubber, but I don't know how to go about this *scratches head.* Using real rubber is probably not an option, but since they are the bottom of my shoes, I want them to be something rather durable (as opposed to craft foam or something... you know?). So I thought that maybe I could make them out of bondo/fiberglass and paint them with the white variety of Alsa Corp's Softfeel paint

This is how Alsa describes this paint...
"RUBBER - VELVET - LEATHER LIKE FEELING PAINT
Alsa Soft Feel Paint coating is a unique product that can create rich, soft feelings on almost any surface.
Ideal for any product that is intended to be touched; Alsa Soft Feel Paint coating transforms hard surfaces into new sensational textures
"

And this is what it looks like
Pic beneath cut )

I dunno, does it look enough like rubber?  Its really expensive, so I want to be sure that it actually looks like rubber before I buy it ><.

Even so...I won't be able to buy this for a while *sigh* Go check out the price

Lol hopefully I wil actually follow through with this project.  I have a very bad habit of getting bored with projects after a while - and consequentially dropping them - so we will see if I *actually* finish it >>

Mostly for my own use, but your input would be most welcome =D

So, I am making a Final Form Sora costume and the Oblivion and Oathkeeper Keyblades to go with it.  I really want them to look like they are actually made out of metal, although I am making them out of fiberglass (lol what else is new) - so I am going to be using auto paint (hopefully).  These are the colors I want to use, so just tell me what you think.

Heya guys =D. I feel so accomplished today! I styled a wig, and I am really pleased with how it turned out. I never actually intended on wearing it (and now I definitely won't, because it is way to orange) but I think it was good practice and it was really fun to make.
Picture under the cut )
The wig is of Kyoko Mogami's hair from the manga/anime "Skip Beat!" which has been one of my absolute favorite mangas since the time Shojo Beat started printing it.  Its sort of weird and quirky, but its really funny and I recommend it.  The anime has a 4.9 out of 5.0 rating on Crunchyroll, so I guess other people like it too lol.

Ok... I'm just happy because I thought I was the only strange creature that enjoyed this manga.

Anyway, here is a link to it on my coscom: http://www.cosplay.com/photo/1828196/ ... and I love coscom comments *hinthint*
